The trash was not bad. Read a bit about it - the second pull is tricky (two sets of interlocking trash pat back and forth and you have to time the pull right) bring CC and halfway decent dps. We had no real shot at Halfus but we managed the trash just fine.

Wow, that's a lot of epics! It could fund a lot in the guild bank... maybe we'll bump up out first raid a bit!

LOL, you're probably right.

I was expecting the bracers to drop last night, since I was on the pally instead.

Yeah, it's quite a nice drop rate, actually, and like Ado said, the gold is not to be sneezed at, I think I made about 700g on our runs.

Nice drops! Hmm. I had no idea there was so much epic loot that could drop from trash in the bastion!

We had chosen to head to Blackwing Descent, and there at the beginning is a total of maybe 6 trash mobs, 3 of which are a major pain in the arse.

Also Happy New Year!

Again, thanks a lot for coming - we appreciate the pull advice and the dps both. Sorry we couldn't get those bracers to drop for Karius and Falahla to fight over! (Though knowing them it would probably have been five minutes of "You take it - no you take it".)

We saw 13 drops on that trash on thursday... pretty much 2x of everything listed to drop plus extras. And yes, the gold drop was awesome. Even after 120+ gold in repairs, and having started the instance -100 something (for a gem), I still came out just shy of 600g ahead :) But if you had extra slots, you should have called me. I would have been happy to come along and help.

I hear you about the raid bug. I've prolly cleared bastion trash about 15 times now even though there are no BoE epics that drop for hunters in there. On our clears we have gotten no swords but 2x agility trinkets, 2x healer/SP/ boomkin staff, plate tank shoulders, and cloth DPS bracers. ( The agility trinket is really only for rogues and druids as its proc is only on melee attack.)

Also the gold from the mobs in nothing to sneeze at. 15-20ish gold a mob and around 40 mobs to clear makes for good progress on guild looting achievment and your own pocket book.
