As far as a raiding hunter goes – http://www.warcrafthuntersunion.com/ is a godsend. Frostheim writes both there, and at Wow.com, and is really good at striking a balance between hardcore theorycrafting and “this is what you really need to know.”

(The podcast is great, too, if you need more hunter goodness in your life.)

We have ZGs scheduled for the next couple weeks, and we used to do classic raids all the time though we’ve put them off until after Cataclysm, but if people wanted to do some more we’re always taking requests and putting them up as people need them. Kara is this weekend I think and there’s a ZG on Thursday.

You know what I want more than any other mount in the game?
The Phoenix. Ashes of Alar, from Tempest Keep, for my gnome mage. WANT. But I’ve never even been in there.

I’ve seen and lost the roll on 2x Swift White Hawkstrider so far.

Saw the blue proto drake in UP drop once. (two of my friends have at least two of them. jerks)

Hm .. lost the roll on the Headless Horseman’s mount last year by ONE.

I have bad luck with mounts.

I have to grind ZG more and also I need to do Sethik halls more often. ug, grinding is annoying. I almost have enough seals for my squire pony though. I will have that tomorrow.

I insist on killing those raptors for that pet, I have yet to see it drop at all…the mounts…well never seen any, and yet everyone and their mother seems to have one now.

I spent part of the weekend farming Zul’Gurub for the rare mounts. No luck but hey, this is only the 200th time I tried it on various characters.

I can’t say the afternoon was wasted however as I ended up with 2 x Razzashi Hatchling (the first I have since last December) and one of my all-time favorite item, Skullflame Shield.
