Yeah come check us out if you like Alliance shenanigans! We actually have lots of women players, many married couples, etc. And I boot people out for poor behavior in guild channel!

Thanks for asking this question, Analogue. I’m in the same boat. Blah Wrath, recently left a guild that was too inactive and unfocussed. I don’t want to log in for the weekly scheduled “raid” and hear, “so what do you all want to do tonight?”

I like my free time in WoW to do what & when I want. But I also want the opportunity to see current content once a week, and have some better players to aspire to and learn from.

I show up on time, and I want to start on time.

And I want a mature group, Alliance only.

Wiling to transfer. If you find a great guild, let us all know.

Yeah, that’s a good suggestion to wait til Catacylsm is more or less here. More than likely we’d transfer no more than one character each to start. We have to decide about 10/25 raid size, I guess. And it has to be an Alliance guild – if I can’t be a tree, I really really don’t want to be a cow.

The horde guild I belong to on Ravencrest has as many female raiders as male raiders. It’s a very casual guild which started to raid very late this expansion and it’s reflected in their performance. Players are learning however and I expect they will do well (as casual) in Cataclysm.

But not a good choice if you expect good performance right away.

I organize 10-man raids every Friday evening at 10 PM Eastern and sometimes one other evening. We’re not always doing the latest content as I like variety.

I may be able to recommend an 10-man strict raid on Suramar or Ravencrest when we get closer to Cataclysm release date.

May I suggest you wait until Caraclysm is (almost) released before actually transferring your toons?

Lots of guilds broke up or were greatly diminished when 3.0 was released and the WotLK release date was announced. I don’t know if history will repeat itself but spending real money to transfer several characters at this time is not a risk I would like to take.

If you want yet another alt (and frankly, who does not?), you may want to roll a new character on a new realm and interract with a guild which interests you.

Yep, it is. We’re not what you would consider a serious raiding guild … more of a social altoholics guild that does raids … but we *have* killed the king … once.
