But I find it quite useful. Maybe not enough to justify the cost but it does come in handy. The day after I made it I was able to carry Analogue’s mage all around to all the elders for the holiday achivement we both needed. I also was able to get someone several people AV orphan tower captures by running them down to the south end of the BG and taking where they needed to be. Useful for me? Not really. Useful for others including my wife? Very. I have not gotten much out of the two person rocket but I probably will when Cata drops. My Jeeves and portable mail box are more handy than the tundra mammoth anyway. I use those like crazy.

Or a bike. I’m a packrat and I keep thinking of all the other things I could spend the money on! Except I never do, because I like *having* the money, just in case.

This is probably the reason why I never had a lot of gold (I’m on 18k right now), but I was never broke either. I buy epic flight without a thought (all my alts have it), but I farm my ass off for anything else. I haven’t decided if this is a good or bad personality feature to have :P

I don’t have the ICC boots because I don’t see myself using up that much saronite for such a minor increase… the most I’ve paid for something in game (except for various types of flying) was less than 1k. It’s interesting to read about GDKP runs, since it’s something I’d never do myself.

But I’m glad you’re happy with your Trauma :D When I got mine, no one in my guild seemed to even want it… got it for 5 dkp.
