I often have forgotten that armor debuff. Early on in my multi tanking career I tried that pull with my wife healing. We wiped two or three times in rapid succession and there was er.. just a tad of QQing about how we should have been able to handle that. I had done the same pull before so we were at a loss as to what was causing us to wipe. I don’t know that we ever pinned it down but the armor debuff is a good example of the sort of thing that can be over looked when ‘gogogo’ tanking. One fight might have some kind of AOE that will wipe you when you pull two of them. Or there might be two hard hitting casters that will 2 shot a tank without the right cooldowns.
Those sorts of things are quite likely the sort of stuff Bliz will use in Cata to force us to use more CC. They can just give a pack two of something that do something that you absolutely positively can’t tank two of at once.

There’s a perverse satisfaction I get when I see a new tank get into Heroic UK and pull that entire first hallway with the 2 anvils. Then they realize that not only do those mobs stun, that have an armor debuff, and then they die.

I only enjoy it, because it happened to me too once.
